Our Story
What is L.E.G.I.T.?
L.E.G.I.T. Summer Camp is a fun and exciting summer adventure for kids and teens in the Bux-Mont area. Each year, we dive into God's word through the vehicle of a beloved movie. By making spiritual applications to a well-known movie, the lessons of God's love are easier to learn and remember. Crafts, campers' challenges and games all tie to the lessons of the week. Teen week is a week full of daily outings and adventures like zip lining and river rafting.
We take this week as an opportunity to escape the business of the world around us to truly experience and share God's plan for the kids in the community and the L.E.G.I.T. Camp Counselors and volunteers!
It's our hope that your family will become part of ours, so that we can not only be friends here each year at summer camp, or each week at church, but that we can be part of a heavenly friendship that lasts for eternity! Come and explore with us this year!

What makes camp different
Community
A community outreach ministry that offers children of all backgrounds the chance to positively interact with their community and the local church.
Faith
Each camper is given the opportunity to become friends with Jesus for eternity, in an environment built for the study of God's word and creation.
Friendship
Campers form healthy relationships and experience wholesome recreational activities alongside counselors who know them by name.
Purpose
Every year we dive into God's word through the vehicle of a beloved movie, so the lessons of God's love are easier to learn and remember.
Memories
Crafts, campers' challenges and games all tie to the lessons of the week, closing with a Friday night Closing Ceremony.
Leadership
Our counselors are strong leaders - kind, fun, God loving and mature and we watch them grow into the leaders of the future.
